This lyophilized preparation is stable at 2-8 degrees C, but should be kept at -20 degrees C for long term storage, preferably desiccated. Upon reconstitution, the preparation is most stable at -20 to -80 degrees C, and can be stored for one week at 2-8 degrees C. Activity
GDNF protein is fully biologically active when compared to standard. Measured by its ability to support the survival and stimulate neurite outgrowth of dissociated chick embryonic dorsal root ganglia (DRG) neurons. The ED50 for this effect is typically 1 - 3 ng/mL
