Biological Activity for (±)-Clopidogrel hydrochloride

(±)-Clopidogrel hydrochloride is a selective, high affinity P2Y₁₂ receptor antagonist (pK_i = 6.9 for hP2Y₁₂ receptor). Inhibits ADP-induced platelet aggregation; potent antithrombotic agent. Requires bioactivation, unlike PSB 0739.

Active Enantiomer also available.
